Merry Christmas
I hope everyone is enjoying their Holiday so far.
I know some are probably offended because I used the "Christmas" word. If that's the case, then pretend this message isn't for you and click, "next blog."
My nephew (17 years old) was pushing shopping carts for Shop 'N Save. While on the clock, he got reprimanded for singing Christmas songs in the parking lot in front of customers. Apparently there was a bystanding Jew amongst the group.
I told him he should have just said, "Well I WASN'T singing to you, was I?"
What do you think? Should we get in trouble for singing Christmas songs at work?

HELL NO! He should not get in trouble for that, If they don't like it then just to f*cking bad!
No! As long as you're not saying bad words then you should be able to sing what you want. I bet if he had been sining something Jewish or whatever he wouldn't have gotten in trouble. HOW STUPID!

I'm sure if he'd been singing the Dradle song, he'd have offended a Catholic.

Personally, I don't get offended by people singing religious songs from any religion...
Unless, of course, it is my roommate at work, who has been playing and singing along with Christmas carols for the past month. My ears started bleeding two weeks ago... Hopefully, now the madness will subside.

I seriously don't believe that I just read that!! What ever happened to the freedom of speech!?! That's such a crock of bologni hogwash it isn't even funny. I think that I would've told whomever reprimanded him to, as Johhny Paycheck would say, TAKE THIS JOB AND SHOVE IT!!
You know I've been working in manangement for about 8 years now and that is the stupidest, most retarded, goofiest, non-reprimandable thing I've ever heard of. I believe the repimandor should be smacked and then fired for stupidity!! I've read a many guides for employee's rights and have NEVER read anything about not being able to sing, especially a Christmas tune, while you are working. I guess Shop N Save has a special policy though!! You know, right under the paragraph about Discrimenation and Harassement it says "While working here you must not sing, ESPECIALLY, Christmas songs." Give me a freaking break!!!
